Antar Mouna (or inner stillness) is a practice of developing expansive awareness, where all is accepted and embraced as part of the divine whole. Nothing is excluded, nothing is pushed away, we open ourselves up to all that life is, whilst assuming the role of passive witness.
This meditation / reflection practice offers a simple key to living a peaceful life within the turmoil of modern living…..
How does the practice work?
Throughout our lives we have many experiences – these experiences leave imprints on the subconscious mind called Samskaras, which colour our lives, responses, character and state of mind. The practcie of Antar Mouna allows these hidden impressions to surface safely and clear them from the subconscious mind.
Why should we practice Antar Mouna?
Samskaras are powerful barriers to personal and spiritual development. They encourage suppression, anxiety and a host of physiological and psychological problems. The more we practice this technique, the more we let go of tension, fear and limiting beliefs. We cleanse and purify our mind space and are able to let go of the need to grasp or hold on, we let go of all internal conflict with the way things are – we begin to allow our lives to flow as fluidly as a calm stream.
