Peace is but a single word – when echoed by many it becomes a rallying cry for harmony in this world!
Join us each month to meditate for peace, to send positive intentions out into the world, to build a community that has the sole intention of spreading harmony, love, tolerance and understanding……..
Seva (selfless service)
“Seva” is a sanskrit word meaning “selfless service” or work performed without any thought of reward or payment. In ancient India Seva was believed to help ones spiritual growth and at the same time contribute to the improvement of a community. This is the art of giving with no need to recieive, where the act itself is a gift to everyone involved. Seva is the art of blessed action!
This event is offered in that spirit – it is FREE and open to all that wish to participate.
Dhana means to give or donate with an open heart – it is the practice of cultivating generosity and gratitude. A beautiful concept of sharing the prosperity the land has to offer and living in harmony with one another and society. So if you are able please leave a donation in the box provided, which will be used to enable those less fortunate to build a life for themselves and their families.
The charity we will be supporting is called – Lend with Care – who are dedicated to empowering and helping people transform their own lives. They offer loans, financial advice and entreprenerial training to help families to develop their own business. Not only do you get a chance to change somebody’s life and really see the difference you are making, your loan is repaid once the business is up and running – with the choice of withdrawing it, or offering the loan to another entrepeneur.
